Continue the adventures of Beatrix LeBeau as she journeys to Rainbow Island, a mysterious land brimming with ancient technology, unknown natural resources, and an avalanche of wiggling, jiggling, new slimes to discover, like the bouncy cotton slime or the aquatic angler slime.Īs Beatrix attempts to unravel the island’s secrets and uncover its true purpose, she’ll build, ranch, and farm within a beautiful conservatory, whose sparkling glass walls give her full view of the prismatic paradise she now calls home. Tarr- All nearby slimes are scared of you! Tarrs won't hurt you :) Mosaic- Calms down all nearby feral slimes Pink- You can bounce higher! Well.a little bit. Phosphor- Lights up the area around you and does slight amounts of damage to nearby Tarrs Hunter- Go invisible so Tarrs and feral slimes can't see you But have you ever thought about making clothes out of them? With this mod you could use plorts to make different kinds of armor/clothes/hats? that would give you special abilities when worn: It allows you to spawn any available object, create spawners, manage loot and much more Make your own Zones, save and share them How do i install it Simple Just execute the special Designed ModInstaller and finish. Have you ever been getting chewed on by a Tarr and suddenly thought Damn I want to keep you in a coral? WELL I HAVE! I already expressed my feelings on this in a post however, so I'm not going to re-hash it. The Slime Rancher BetterBuild mod is an advanced level Editor. Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand. I have a two ideas, both which tie into each other: Tamable Tarrs So, what might you like to see some day for mods? I know I don't even bother with toys for my slimes until I get the vendor, since it's usually a pain to lug those things all the way back on foot. Definitely a simpler one, but it would just make things a little less annoying. This might also have the interesting effect of encouraging slimes in the wild to wander around a little more, especially carnivorous slimes, as they hunt for food.īringing carried objects through teleporters. The hungrier a slime becomes, the wider the radius they will detect and pursue food will become. This brought an interesting thought to mind: Slime AI that adjusts with hunger level. The radius that slimes will see food seems strangely small, to the point where slimes hanging out near the walls in the grotto will starve even when there's a literal pile of food in the middle of the cave. New mods to check out like the Random Slime mod which mixes slimes together to make crazy new ones Slime Rancher is going to be an awesome new Slime Rancher world to explore. However, I occasionally see some odd stuff happen with this. You know, toss a tank-full or two of veggie/fruit-eating slimes into the Overgrowth or Grotto, plant their favorite food in all the plots (maybe a silo in one), and occasionally come sweep up all the plots laying around. I sometimes enjoy doing the whole "free-range" slimes thing. This mod, as its name suggests, allows for the loading and activating of other Slime Rancher mods, making it necessary to use any mods in the first place. Tweaks to slime AI, specifically how it handles hunger and food. Slime Rancher Mod Loader Image via veesus mikel heir By far the most important mod on this list is the Slime Rancher Mod Loader, or SRMLfor short. The Sims 4 is getting an official platform for hosting and downloading mods. Though I could certainly think of a few general quality-of-life improvements that might make the game that much more enjoyable. Artwork from Frostpunk and Slime Rancher form our Best Management Games. Some of the best mods for one of the best indie games. Personally, I'm not much into cheat mods or goofy joke mods. Though I'm curious, if mods for this game were a thing, what sort of stuff might you like to see? It's too bad an awesome game like Slime Rancher doesn't really have any mods to speak of (aside from the occasional cheat-trainer and that one toolkit mod that costs a dollar), but I suppose it's still a bit early in its life for that. I for one always love when games have robust and well-supported modding communities. Description: he Slime Rancher BetterBuild mod is an advanced level Editor.

While they claim that for the issues that they cannot solve, the developers will be contacted – I am not sure that this actually happens and I have not seen any positive results from it. For those of us who have used the apps for many years, the responses to problems from the Muma Studios Support people are often more basic and less useful than what I already know. I’m not sure when this changed happened and how the whole operation works, but the end result has been a noticeable drop in quality of the app and service. All enquiries are handled by “Muma Studios Support”. UPDATE: 5 August 2022: At some point there have been changes with the team that works on iSyncr and Rocket Player. So, if you’re looking for a powerful music player for your Android phone, I really recommend that you get iSyncr (for syncing the songs and static playlists) and Rocket Player (for using Live Lists/Smart Playlists). That I can use my phone rather than PC also means that I get much better sound as I can use my Bluetooth speaker. I cannot work in peace and quiet, so having a music player that does what I want is important to me. I no longer need iSync to update on an hourly basis as largely updates are only needed to check for when I add new songs.Īll of this may sound quite insignificant to many people, but I need music to work. Although it’s missing one option (getting a song to be selected randomly rather than, say, the least recently played) to make it fully like the way Smart Playlists work on iTunes, I am finally (probably about 10 years since I dumped iPods) at a point where my mobile’s music player can operate almost in isolation from my PC and need regularly updates. On the whole I didn’t use these as it was missing a key rule that I used – that is being able to select a song based on what other playlist (or Live List) it is in. Rocket Player also has Live Lists – which are like the Smart Playlists on iTunes. As well as the standard options, there are a range of ways to change the way tunes are played and the look of the app itself. Rocket Player, meanwhile was the most customisable and user-friendly music player that I had found. So, not able to do exactly what I wanted, but not far off and no worse off. It effectively meant that I was immediately in the same position as I had been with the way I needed to sync my iPod and iTunes. iSyncr can sync my music library (and playlists) between my Android and iTunes. It was largely due to this oversight/bug that when development on the Touch stalled (and my eyes needed a bigger screen) that I decided to jump over to Android rather than have an iPhone.īut what to do about my music and was there a way to have an equivalent of the Smart Playlists that I had liked (when they worked)? After some hunting around and trying of various apps, I settled on the pairing of iSyncr and Rocket Player – two apps made by the same developers (who are a great team and respond so quickly if you need help or want to make suggestions). The only way I could get the playlists to update was to sync with the computer and the iTunes database. But one day, Apple updated the software and after that Smart Playlists (ones that automatically update) stopped working on the device. It did everything I needed and I was happy to have a separate music player and mobile phone. To understand why I like it so much, let me provide a bit of context. The app in question is called Rocket Player and it is, in my view, the best music app out there (and I’ve tried a few). Rather than discussing my academic work or novels, I’m writing about an app that I use. Kate McLaughlin's What Unbreakable Looks Like is a gritty, ultimately hopeful novel about human trafficking through the lens of a girl who has escaped the life and learned to trust, not only others, but in herself. But first she'll have to confront the monsters of her past with the help of her family, friends, and a new love. She's thrust into the limelight and realizes she has the power to help others. But when she is sexually assaulted by her so-called boyfriend and his friends, Lex is forced to reckon with what happened to her and that just because she is used to it, doesn't mean it is okay. Instead she trusts what she shouldn't because that's what feels right. After she moves in with her aunt and uncle, for the first time in a long time, she knows what it is to feel truly safe. But when the girls are rescued, she doesn't quite know how to be Lex again. Kept in a hotel with other girls, her old life is a distant memory. DeepFocus Now you can turn your WordPress blog into a fully functional online photo gallery while still maintaining all of the features of a normal blog. When dealing with the restoration of a listed building, listed building consent is often required, which is something the practice deals with on a regular basis. Works completed range from smaller schemes including the installation of astragals on windows, installation of gates and railings etc, to larger projects where entire stone facades and leadwork roofs have been replaced. They often go out of their way to resolve any issues for us. Under the Content Area 1/2 dropdown menus, choose the two pages you would like to use. In a few instances those wealthy families retained private ownership well into the late 1900s. That’s because many homeowners couldn’t afford their properties after the Civil War ended, so they sold off their land to wealthy investors from the North. The majority of Georgia’s barrier islands are privately owned - or at least protected by the government.Approximately a quarter million endangered loggerhead sea turtle eggs are laid annually in Georgia’s coastal sands. Georgia’s coastal region is estimated to contain almost one third of the salt marshes found along the entire East Coast, and it’s home to many endangered species of plants and animals. Spelunky 2 is like a box of chocolates: you never know what kind of run you’re gonna get. Each level will have a different overall layout each time, making each run a little different, but you can always expect the same basic principles. This, along with the normal roguelike aspect of the game, provides an element of randomness that makes each run unique. Sometimes the Jungle will have a bunch of killer bees, or the water-themed level will have a gigantic fish boss. So you don’t want to obsess over picking up every piece of gold and taking out every enemy, but you also don’t want to rush through and die from something that’s easily avoidable. After another 30 seconds, he’ll split into two, much quicker, more terrifying ghosts. If you spend too long on a level - three minutes to be exact - a spooky ghost shows up and chases you, killing you immediately if he catches up to you. However, it’s also a bad idea to go too slow. I would start running as quick as I could and make totally careless mistakes, like walking straight into a bear trap or getting hit by an arrow I should have seen coming. I want to see what else the game has in store, but rushing through the levels is actually a huge detriment. My first instinct is to go as quickly as possible so I can progress further than I had previously. and my biggest hurdle was learning to take my time and be careful. It requires a fair bit of skill and a lot of patience to succeed. That being said, nothing in Spelunky 2 actually comes easy. It regularly introduces items and weapons that’ll help you traverse new areas or kill enemies and bosses with ease. In that regard, Spelunky 2 is almost like an upgraded version of the first game, with tweaked versions of the original levels as well as entirely new ones. As you explore, each level brings forth new enemies, deadly traps, and so many secrets to uncover. You’ll explore a vast set of caves and descend into unknown territory as you search the moon for your missing parents. Spelunky 2 is a roguelike platformer where you play as Ana, the daughter of the adventurer from the first game. Spelunky 2 is already proving to be even more fun, and maybe even more difficult. But I still have tons of hours across platforms in Spelunky because it’s seriously that fun - and difficult. And to this day, I don’t think I’ve ever beaten Olmec. I even later purchased it for PC, and then again on PlayStation 4. I first tried it out it way back in the distant past when it was on Xbox Live Arcade, and I have fond memories of playing with my brother, who was far more skilled at it. I have a confession to make: I’ve never actually beaten Spelunky. You do not even have to dig to see the new roots, as they will show up right on top of the new soil once they develop.Įnsure that the soil remains slightly moist. Use floral pins to secure the stem on the mother still to the soil in the new pot. Move one of the stems of the mother Hoya towards the new pot you have prepared for the baby Hoya to grow in. The soil you use should be moist, light, and nutrient-rich. To start, you will prepare a new pot full of soil ready for a new Hoya to grow in. This method still involves the stem of the plant, but you do not cut the stem off of your mother plant initially. It is an advanced way to clone your plant but also the safest. Propagating Hoyas can also be done using the air layering method. You can take a stem cutting to propagate a Hoya 4. Roots will begin to grow within a month if the leaves do not get wet or submerged. You can also place your stem cutting in a glass of water and use any length of a piece of stem for this method. When your cutting takes roots in the soil, you do not want it to dry out and do not want to give it too much moisture either.Īvoid this by providing little water. The soil should be slightly moist when you plant the cutting. Use a pot of soil in which you can bury the lower end of your stem once cut off. The first thing you do is to remove the lowest leaf from the stem. Propagating Hoyas from stem cuttings is the easiest and fasted method to duplicate your plant. Hoyas can be propagated using leaf cuttings 3. This may aid your chances of the growth of any type of healthy Hoya plant that you desire. If you want to assist this difficult method of propagation, consider a hormone that aids in the rooting process. When you will notice that roots form from the leaves and it is okay to get excited!ĭo not get overly excited, however, as, at times, even with these roots your cuttings do not turn into the plants that you hope to grow and propagate. Make sure they are sitting at a 45-degree angle as well to allow for growth to happen. Space the leaves far enough apart in the pot so that the rots do have room to spread out when they form. Place at least five to six leaves into the soil, with the tips just covered so roots can begin to form. Wait at least five weeks before a root even builds into the soil from the leaves! Using leaf cuttings is a method that requires patience and determination as it can be one of the most challenging methods. If you have a Hoya imperialis, for instance, you will cut off a few of the beautiful, lush, green leaves from the stem of your plant to start. The second method of propagating a Hoya plant is to use leaf cuttings. Propagating Hoyas from seeds is possible, but seeds are hard to find 2. the second set will already look more like the leaves of a mature Hoya. These are the second pair of leaves they form. Repot the seedlings once they grow their first true leaves. When you plant Hoyas seeds, ensure they have room to grow. But it is well worth it if you have the patience. It does take a long time for the plant to grow to full maturity from seeds. Spray with a water sprayer every few days to keep the moss slightly humid but not drenched.Ĭlose the container entirely with a lid and lift it off every few days. Soak the moss and make sure it is humid but not wet. The best way to do it is to use Sphagnum Moss and a container with a lid. Once you find the seeds of the specific Hoya plant you want to grow, start planting. Don’t buy seeds online as they are mostly fake. Alternatively, use the seed pods from the plants that you already own. Purchase the seeds from your local garden supply store or a known houseplant enthusiast like you. The simplest but often the most frustrating method of propagating Hoyas is to start them from the seeds. I am now going to explain all four different ways of Hoya propagation. Air layering method, which is the most successful.Use the stems as long as you focus on the softwood portions and have at least one node.Join our Facebook Group About Houseplants and Gardening |
